Orchard Hotel, San Francisco

Jeramiah joined the culinary team at Daffodil Restaurant in 2008, after completing an internship in classic French cooking at Rovers in Seattle, WA. During his tenure there, he worked under Chef de Cuisine Adam Hoffman and Executive Chef Thierry Rautureau (also known as The Chef in the Hat).

Born in Reno and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jeramiah began cooking as a child in his mother's home bakery. When he was just 12 he created his signature BBQ Pulled Pork recipe, now a popular item on Daffodil's dinner menu.

After graduating from high school, Jeramiah spent two years as an airborne infantryman in the 82nd Airborne in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. In 1999, upon completing his military service, he returned to California, working as a carpenter in the Central Valley.

In 2006, he decided to pursue his childhood passion and enrolled in the California Culinary Academy. Fourteen months later he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Jeramiah's menus reflect his respect for home style cooking - simple, delicious and comforting. When he's not in the kitchen at Daffodil, he's pursuing his quest for the perfect pizza.
